
An arrest was made just a few hours after the report of a stolen vehicle in Marshall.
According to a police report, at approximately 6:11 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, a woman called the department to report her vehicle- a 2001 Toyota Sequoia- as stolen.
The woman advised she left the vehicle unlocked with the keys on the center console.
At approximately 7:53 p.m., a Saline County Deputy said he was with the vehicle at 619 East Washington Street, with one person in custody.
Officers arrived and confirmed it was the stolen vehicle.
Court documents say Justin Loggins is charged with a Class D Felony for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree. Bond is set at $7,500 cash only.
Loggins was arraigned on Monday, January 11. His next hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, at Saline County Circuit Court.
