Saline County Health Department Administrator Tara Brewer is ecstatic about a COVID-19 shot clinic that began on Thursday, January 28, in Marshall.

Brewer says several hundred people will be vaccinated during the event.

Brewer says the Saline County Ambulance District helped with the event, as well.

Brewer urges area residents to preregister if they would like to receive a COVID-19 vaccine when more vaccine becomes available and their group is eligible.

According to its latest update on Tuesday, January 26, the Saline County Health Department’s COVID-19 Dashboard says there have been 2,611 total positive cases of COVID-19 in the county. With 2,443 of the overall positive cases now deemed inactive and 52 COVID-19-related deaths, there are 116 active cases in the county.
