The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for KMMO listening area.

Mixed precipitation is expected this morning with additional snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze. Dangerously cold wind chills are expected. Daytime wind chills are expected to be near or just below zero.

For the rest of today, snow is likely, possibly mixed with freezing drizzle, mainly after 3pm. It will cloudy and cold, with a high near 15. Wind chill values between zero and 5-degrees. Northeast wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60-percent.

Be sure to bundle up and slow down and use caution when driving.
