Due to bitterly-cold temperatures and slick roadways, numerous school districts in the KMMO listening area will not be in session on Tuesday, February 9.

According to district administrators, Marshall Public Schools are closed. Also closed are: Prairie View State School in Marshall; St. Peter’s in Marshall; Blackwater; Brunswick R-2; Concordia R-2 and St. Paul’s Elementary in Concordia; Fayette R-3; E.W. Thompson State School in Sedalia; Gilliam C-4; Glasgow Public, Head Start and St. Mary’s in Glasgow; Hardeman R-10; Hardin-Central; Lafayette County C-1 in Higginsville; La Monte; Malta Bend R-5; Miami R-1; New Franklin; Northwestern at Mendon; Henry County R-1 at Windsor; Odessa R-7; Orearville R-4; Otterville; Pettis County R-5 at Houstonia and Hughesville; Pettis County R-12 at Dresden; Pilot Grove C-4; Sacred Heart and St. Paul’s Elementary in Sedalia; Santa Fe Schools in Alma and Waverly; St. Joseph in Pilot Grove; Sweet Springs R-7; and Trinity Lutheran in Alma. Slater Schools will be closed, but will be holding classes online.

State Fair Community College will not be holding day nor evening classes.
