covid-19-vaccine

Monday, February 8, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services launched an automated COVID-19 vaccine registration system called “Missouri Vaccine Navigator.”

Cooper County Public Health Center officials say, “This is really good news for all residents. CCPHC apologizes for the inconvenience of requiring a second registration, but by using this new system, the process will be faster and more efficient.”

To register for the vaccine online, you can go to the link- covidvaccine.mo.gov.

If you do not have access to a computer, you may register by telephone by calling (877) 435-8411 and selecting Option No. 1.

If you are a resident of Cooper County and currently are on the CCPHC’s waiting list, you will need to register again using the Navigator system. CCPHC is unable to transfer data between registration systems. In order to take advantage of upcoming clinics, re-registering is required.

Health department officials say, “It is critical that all residents use this new process, especially those aged 65 and older or those younger than 65 who have high-risk medical problems.”

They say you should register as soon as possible.

If you have family and/or friends who are on a waiting list, you are urged to share this information and encourage them to register or re-register as soon as possible.

If you have received your first dose from CCPHC staff, you do not need to re-register. CCPHC will call you to schedule/confirm your second-dose appointment. The re-registration process is only necessary if you have not received any COVID-19 vaccine and have been wait-listed.
