A 48-hour boil advisory has been issued for some residents and businesses in Slater.

According to a city spokesperson, the advisory is for those residents and businesses in the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of Main Street- basically from Front to Parker Streets.

The boil advisory went into effect at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16.
