Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall is holding a COVID vaccine event at the Malcolm Center for Student Life on the Missouri Valley College campus in Marshall today.

A news release says due to the weather keeping some people from traveling, there are vaccines available for walk-ins from 2 to 4 p.m. today.

Amy Weber, Fitzgibbon Hospital Manager of Business Development and Governmental Relations, talks about some of the criteria.

Weber says the state also has entered Phase 1B, Tier 2.

Weber said still others are eligible for the walk-in vaccination clinic today.
