Due to dangerously-cold weather conditions expected to continue through Tuesday, February 16, and Wednesday, February 17, trash pickup services provided by the City of Sedalia will start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday for automated truck routes.

A news release says routes where a rear-load truck, with laborers emptying carts using manual tipping devices is used, will not be collected on Tuesday. The Tuesday rear-load routes will be picked up on Wednesday and Thursday, February 17-18.

Due to the delayed start time, some routes may be picked up a day later than normal. Residents are asked to place their trash carts out for collection on their regular trash pickup day, and leave their carts out until collected.
