Luetta “Lue” Soendker, age 89, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 26, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Masks are required at all services, and social distancing will be observed.

Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church of Marshall or Hartland Residential Care.

Born November 23, 1931, in Lexington, MO, she was the daughter of the late Erwin August Dothage and Esther Meinershagen Dothage. She was a graduate of Lexington High School. On September 5, 1951, she married Lawrence Ray “Corky” Soendker who preceded her in death on January 30, 2017. She moved to Dallas, Oregon in 1956 and to Marshall in 1967. She was a member of the First Christian Church where she was active. She was a bookkeeper for Reeder Auto Parts and retired from Wood and Huston Bank.

Survivors include three children, Dale Soendker (Connie) of Sedalia, MO, Ron Soendker of rural Marshall and Janece Soendker of Denver, CO; five grandchildren, Chris Soendker (Kerri), Curt Soendker (Carlie), Angie Martin (Brett), Amber Soendker and Stacey Soendker; 10 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Delmar Dothage of Lexington, Ethel Ruether of Higginsville, MO and Clarence Dothage of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lue was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Sydnee Soendker; one sister, Alvera Johnson; and one brother, Ralph Dothage.
