During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, February 25, Commissioners accepted a bid to replace the tile on the second floor of the Courthouse. Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden says, the bid accepted was from Ward Tile for the total amount of replacement for $114,900.

Gooden says restoration of the floor is not an option.

Gooden says abatement on the floor has to be done, which is taking the top layer of the floor off and removing asbestos which will cost $15,700.
