Some roadwork is scheduled that will affect traffic flow on a rural route in Saline County this week.

According to a spokesperson from the Missouri Department of Transportation, a tube replacement is scheduled to take place on Route D, north of Hardeman. The spokespersons says the work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 2, and last through Friday, March 5. He says the work is scheduled to affect traffic from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day.

The spokesperson says drivers should expect delays, and there will be full closures of the roadway at times.

Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route to avoid delays.

All work is weather permitting.
