
The Higginsville Board of Aldermen discussed options related to a municipal advisor agreement for a sewer project during its meeting on Monday, March 1.
City Administrator Jeanette Dobson said aldermen made the decision to go with Raymond James & Associates, Inc.
Dobson said the city is still working out all of the details, but the issue will not be on the April Municipal Election ballot. She said it could be on the August or November ballot.
In other news, aldermen recognized Ashley Page for 20 years of service.
Aldermen also approved the commissioning of police officer Jeremi Olvera. Olvera’s first full day on the police force is Tuesday, March 2.
