Two area residents suffered moderate injuries in a rollover traffic crash in Pettis County on Friday, March 12.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as 40-year-old Ronald Duncan’s southbound vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center and ran off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned twice and came to rest on its wheels.

Duncan was flown by Life Flight helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia; and a passenger- 54-year-old Sheila Pickett, of Sedalia- was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Hospital in Sedalia for treatment. Pickett was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash happened at 12:36 a.m. on Route M, south of McGee Road.
