
Several area roadways are closed due to flooding in the KMMO listening area.
According to the MODOT Traveler Information Map, in Saline County, Highway 127, north of Sweet Springs at salt pond creek ,; Route DD east of Nelson; Old Highway 40, south of I-70 and just west of Sweet Springs; Route VV, north of I-70 near Emma; and Route UU, just east of U.S. Highway 65 are closed.
In Chariton County,Route D, north of Keytesville at Mussel Fork Creek; Route NN at the East Fork of Little Chariton River; and Route O at Bee Branch, are closed.
In Cooper County, Route BB, near Clifton City at Gabrial Creek; Route DD near Blackwater; Route HH between Rodeo Drive and Buffalo Prairie Drive; Route NN near Clear Creek; Route U between Doyle Road and Panther Creek Road; and Route V, south of I-70; Route Z at Heath’s Creek are closed.
In Howard County, Highway 124, between Route A and Route Y; Route W, at Moniteau Creek; Route Z, just west of Highway 87 and northwest of Boonville; and Route H, just northeast of Fayette, are closed.
In Johnson County, Highway 23, between Concordia and Knob Noster; Route B near Big Creek; and Route E, near Valley City, is closed at the Blackwater River.
In Lafayette County, Route D at Sni-A-Bar Creek; and Route FF at Sni-A-Bar are closed. And drivers should expect delays on Highway 224 west of Lexington due to water on the roadway.
In Pettis County, Route O at Muddy Creek north of Beaman,; and Route W, south of Smithon, are closed.
