A Clinton man is facing a couple of felonies in Pettis County after allegedly leading authorities on a high-speed pursuit that reached speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour last year.

On November 3, 2020 a Pettis County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop a vehicle, later identified as a stolen vehicle out of Henry County. The vehicle reached speeds up to 114 mph before entering Benton County, at which time the deputy terminated the pursuit.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was later identified as Brandon Dee Rollett.

Rollett is charged with a Class D Felony for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree and Class E Felony for Resisting Arrest for a Felony. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety.

Rollett was formally arraigned Monday, March 29. A Counsel Status Hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 6 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
