A 43-year-old Corder man has been charged with multiple felonies after a reported incident on January 24.

A probable-cause statement says authorities were dispatched to the report of a domestic disturbance involving a firearm on Pettyville Road in Corder.

Kevin Manning is alleged to have fired multiple rounds from a rifle into an excavator and shot a bullet through the windshield of a truck. He also allegedly caused injury to a man after assaulting him.

Manning was arraigned and pleaded not guilty, on January 25, to Class B Felonies for Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Discharging or Shooting a Firearm at or from a Motor Vehicle, Shooting at a Person, Motor Vehicle or Habitable Building or Structure- Persistent Offender; a Class D Felony for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm; and a Class E Felony for Unlawful Use of a Weapon- Exhibiting. Manning posted $5,000-percentage bond on February 19.

His next court proceeding is scheduled for 9 a.m., Wednesday, April 7, at Lafayette County Circuit Court.
