The Missouri Department of Transportation has officially opened Route J over Crooked River Bridge in Ray County.

Crews began rehabbing the bridge in the fall of 2020, where they removed and replaced the old bridge deck and improved the approaches.

The original bridge was built in 1970 and had reached the end of its projected service life.

This bridge project is included in Governor Mike Parson’s $351 million “Focus on Bridges” program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
