
The number of roadways closed due to flooding in the KMMO listening area has decreased, but is still significant.
According to MoDOT, the closures are in Saline, Cooper and Johnson Counties.
In Saline County, Highway 127 north of Sweet Springs at Salt Pond Creek and the outer road south of I-70 just west of Sweet Springs are closed.
In Cooper County, Route HH at the Lamine River northwest of Pilot Grove and Route N at Clear Creek southwest of Pilot Grove are closed.
In Johnson County, Highway 23 between Concordia and Knob Noster is closed.
In each case, drivers should seek an alternate route.
In Pettis County, Route O- at Shaver Creek south of Beaman and at Muddy Creek north of Beaman- has been reopened to traffic. Also, in Chariton County, Route E near Rothville at Yellow Creek; Route D east of Mike; and Route NN south of Salisbury have been reopened to traffic.
