A special meeting of the Saline County Commission was called on Monday, April 12.

According to minutes from the meeting, the meeting was held to approve a payout of B.R.O. Bridge 52 funds the county had just received. All B.R.O. money received must be paid out within three days of receipt to remain in compliance with federal law.

Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. asked for a motion to approve a special payment schedule requested by Auditor Karlin Breshears for a payment of $10,646.18 to Rhodes Engineering Co. Inc., of Brookfield.

Commissioners approved the payment to be made.

Bridge No. 52 is in Sweet Springs.
