Melva Jean “Jeannie” Arnold, age 81, of Bunceton, died Friday, May 14, 2021, at Tipton Oak Manor.

Mrs. Arnold was born August 5, 1939, in Martinsburg, Missouri to Henry and Gertrude (Green) Davis. Jeannie married Robert Arnold on July 29, 1962.

She graduated high school from Laboratory School in 1957. She was a factory worker and homemaker for many years. She loved to play cards, garden, mow grass and spend time with her family and friends. She attended Church at the Tipton Community Baptist Church for many years.

She is survived by 5 children, Lynn Greer (Johnny) of Weirsdale, FL, Kerry Arnold (Brenda) of Tipton, MO, Shelley Meyer (Rick) of California, MO, Terry Arnold and adopted son Bart Perrin of Columbia, MO, and Sharon Arnold of Tipton, MO; four grandchildren, Jamie Jordan of California, MO, Robert Sanders of California, MO, Amber McDaniel (Austin) of New Bloomfield, MO, Matthew Dean (Brooke) of Belleview, FL; six great-grandchildren, Isaac Sanders of Jefferson City, MO, Eli and Carson Pack of New Bloomfield, MO, Madison Sanders of California, MO, Auroa Dean and Braiden Hargrove of Belleview, FL; one brother, Robert Davis of Iowa, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to both of her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert William Arnold; three brothers; one sister; a daughter-in-law; Lois Arnold, one great-granddaughter Madalynn Pack.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton, where visitation begins at noon. Burial to follow at Pisgah Cemetery.
