Masks are still required for all visitors at Bothwell Regional Hospital in Sedalia and in clinics as Bothwell is following all regulatory guidance.

Hospital officials say when a patient and his or her visitors are all fully vaccinated, they may choose to have close contact (including touch) and not wear masks when alone in a patient room or designated visitation room. Visitors must continue to wear masks and physically distance from other healthcare personnel and other patients/visitors who are not part of their group at all other times while in facilities.

Bothwell allows two visitors over the age of 16 at a time per patient between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for general hospital units.

No visitors will be allowed for patients who are COVID-19 positive or awaiting test results. One visitor at a time is allowed per patient in the Emergency Department (ED) and surgical areas (same day surgery, general surgery, and labor and delivery).

Women’s Health and Newborn Care now allows two visitors per mother/baby unit at a time once in postpartum rooms. The Bothwell Cafeteria is open to visitors during select hours.
