Donna Kaye “Katie” Hirt, age 62, of Miami, MO, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 26, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall.

Born February 27, 1959, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Noble Merle Davis and Anna Belle Lamunion Davis who survives of Campbell, MO. On May 3, 1974, she married Walter Linn “Casper” Hirt who survives of the home. She lived in Miami most of her life and was a CNA at Fitzgibbon Hospital and Big Bend Retreat. She attended Marshall United Pentecostal Church. Donna loved people and enjoyed decorating.

Survivors include her mother and husband; two sons, Micheal Hirt I (fiancé, Rebekah Wood) and Matt Hirt of Miami, MO; three grandchildren, Mikaela Ann Hirt, Mariah Lin Hirt and Micheal Linn Hirt II; stepdaughter, Kimmie Dryer; step-granddaughter, Cassie Dryer; four brothers, Arthur Ray Davis, Dennis Lee Davis, Jimmy Carroll Davis and Michael Eugene Davis all of Campbell, MO; one sister, Kim Yvonne Cavaness of Bernie, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Donna was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Sue Davis; and one niece, Brandy Cavaness.
