Bernice E. Sporleder, 80, of rural Marshall, MO, died Sunday, July 11 at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 16, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall.  Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery.  A prayer service will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home where visitation will follow until 7:30 p.m.  Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born October 18, 1940 in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Francis Samson and Mathilda Regina Kloeppel Samson.  Bernice was a graduate of Mercy Academy in Marshall and then earned a specialty certificate as a laboratory technician which she did in her younger years.  On October 20, 1962 she married Richard J. Sporleder who preceded her in death on November 25, 2013.  Bernice lived in Saline and Randolph counties most of her life and was a dedicated homemaker for her family.  She was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society as well as being an R.C.I.A. Director, and was a member of the Saline County Pachyderm Club.

Survivors include three sons: Dr. Patrick Sporleder of Wardsville, MO, Dr. Chris Sporleder (Deanna) of Columbia, MO and Andrew Sporleder, Esq. (Nicole) of Wardsville, MO; 11 grandchildren: Alexandria, Victoria, Krista, Erich, Stephen, Jeremy, Benjamin, Rachel, Rebekah,  Emily and Alison; two great grandchildren, Liam Dean Sporleder and Raine Elizabeth Aumick-Sporleder; as well as other extended family.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one brother, Norbert Samson.
