A 37-year-old Sedalia man is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly sexually abusing three children in the past few years.
A Child-Safe investigator interviewed the children, separately on May 21, 2020. During the interviews, the children described in explicit detail, acts performed by John Wayne Archambault, who used to live with them.
The events described happened in the past as the children no longer live at home where the incidents took place. Investigators were able to verify that Archambault had, in fact, lived at the same address as the children from 2015-18.
During an interview with Archambault, he denied the accusations.
Archambault is charged with two felony counts of second degree statutory sodomy and a misdemeanor for furnishing pornographic material or attempt to a minor.
Archambault waived his formal arraignment on July 20, 2020 and entered a plea of not guilty.
His next court proceeding is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 19 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
