Saline County Assessor Jessica Adcock Goodman was at the meeting of the county commission on Thursday, July 22, and gave an update on the county’s assessment.

Goodman said the assessor’s office closed its books and turned over Form 11 to the county clerk’s office as of July 7.

Due to the reassessment, Goodman said her office mailed out more than 10,000 impact notices- or she says they are also called value-increase notices.

Board of Equalization hearings are going through this next week for those who requested them in the county commission chambers at the courthouse.
