
Marshall Municipal Utilities IT & Broadband Director Jim Widel motioned to request bids for a trailer to haul the vibratory plow, during the meeting of the MMU Board of Public Works on Thursday, July 29.
Widel says the board has discussed the bid for a trailer since starting with the plow, but has not received official approval. Plow bids are due Wednesday, August 3.
Widel explained 25-ton trailers with a big rig hitch and air-brakes cost approximately $23,000.
The MMU Board of Public Works approved the motion to request bids for a trailer.
