The COVID-19 active case count has risen over the weekend in Saline County.

According to the health department’s dashboard, as of Sunday, September 5, there were 134 active cases, up from 116 on Saturday, September 4.

There have been 73 COVID-19-related deaths in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.

In all, there have been 3,608 total confirmed positive cases and 436 probable cases.

There have been 106 positive cases in the last week and 159 in the last two weeks.

By age group, the number of positive cases: 646 in the Under 20 age group; 599 in 20 to 29; 550 in 30 to 39; 482 in 40 to 49; 479 in 50 to 59; 411 in 60 to 69; 262 in 70 to 79; and 179 in 80-plus.
