MoDOT crews working on the Norfolk Southern Railway have postponed the closure of Chariton County Routes K and KK scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 7 for railroad maintenance.

According to MoDOT, crews now plan to close Routes K and KK at the the Kansas City District crossings at 8 a.m. Monday, September 13, through 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 15.

During the closure, motorists will need to seek an alternate route. All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change.
