A mask mandate was implemented by the administration at Marshall Public Schools that went into effect on September 7. However, the number of positive cases and quarantines increased from the week of September 10 to the week of September 17.

During her report at the school board meeting on Tuesday, September 21, Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher gave the details.

Dr. Maher explained there have been changes in the some of the recommendations for quarantines.

Dr. Maher said this has been in motion since the district received the recommendation from DHSS and DESE.
