Nearly two dozen bricks were placed at the Veterans’ Memory Walk of Honor on the west side of the Saline County Courthouse over the weekend.

According to former Saline County Northern District Commissioner Charlie Guthrie, 23 Bricks were placed on Saturday, October 9.

Placing bricks were committee members Tommy Berger, Zack Fletcher, Guthrie, Bob Robinson, Kip Bethel, Ed Reis, Levi Dennis and Brad Bartlett.

Bricks will again be installed before Memorial Day in May 2022.

Bricks cost $50 each.

Brick applications are available from Ed Reis at Wood & Huston Bank or at Dale Zank’s State Farm Insurance office, or at the Saline County Courthouse at the Recorder’s, collector’s or Treasurer’s office.
