
The Marshall Municipal Utilities’ Board of Public Works approved several action items on its agenda Thursday, October 14.
According to its agenda, Director of Wastewater Treatment, Nolan Townsend said after speaking with FEMA, MMU would have to go through a bid process to replace and repair items that were damaged by the flood in late June. Townsend said there are three projects needing bids including the replacement of two dump trucks, a remodel of the break room and restroom in the filter building, and the replacement of the two overhead garage doors of the filter building hallway.
The board approved the motions to request bids.
In other business, Director of Underground Facilities, Grant Piper said two 2008 Ford F-450, four-by-four, with Knapheide utility beds would likely need to be replaced in the upcoming years.
The board asked Piper about the conditions of the trucks.
