The University of Central Missouri’s homecoming parade is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 23.

The Warrensburg Police Department has announced area roads will be blocked off for the event.

Authorities ask residents and visitors to avoid parking on Holden Street, from Clark Street to Gay Street; Gay Street, from Holden to College Street; and College Street, from Gay to South Street.

Officials say cars must be moved by 5 a.m. Saturday – prior to the street being blocked off. Individuals who park on these streets may run the risk of being towed.
