All students in an area school district now will have access to needed technology.

According to unofficial minutes from the Glasgow School Board meeting on Wednesday, October 20, the district received word that its Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) grant application was awarded and fully funded. The grant award amount was $33,311 and requires no matching funds from the district.

The district already has ordered and received 100 additional Chrome Books and site licenses for each device.

District officials say, “We now have enough Chrome Books for every student in the district- K-12- to have device access throughout the school day.”

In other news, the board approved the annual audit that was completed by Gerding, Korte & Chitwood, CPA. Copies of the annual audit always are available for review in the superintendent’s office at the school.
