Keytesville R-3 High School is scheduled to host a special event to honor those who have served and are serving the nation in the armed forces next week.

District officials say the school is scheduled to host its annual Veterans’ Day program. In observance of this, district officials encourage each student to wear red, white and blue or patriotic clothing on this day. Several of the district’s students are participating in the program as well.

The program will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, in the KHS gym.

All Veterans, anyone currently serving in the military, and the rest of the community are welcome to attend.
