The total positive COVID-19 case count has surpassed 1,600 in Howard County since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Howard County Health Department reports as of Friday, November 5, the total positive case count was 1,601- with 20 cases added during the week.

As of Friday, the active case count had climbed from 12 on November 2 to 22 on Friday.

The death total in the county remained at 13, and no county residents are hospitalized due to the virus.
