A Marshall man charged with multiple felonies following incidents earlier this yearis due in court.

According to the Marshall Police Department, Justin Ethan Scharnhorst was arrested in April on several active warrants in reference to domestic assault investigations.

According to court documents, Scharnhorst is charged with felonies for unlawful possession of a firearm, domestic assault in the third degree and unlawful use of a weapon- exhibiting; as well as a misdemeanor for kidnapping. The court has ordered no bond. His motion for bond reduction was denied.

Scharnhorst waived his preliminary hearing, pleaded not guilty, and his case was bound over to the trial division. A plea hearing is scheduled for 8:59 a.m. on Monday, November 15, at Saline County Circuit Court.
