A 33-year-old Sunrise Beach resident was flown from the scene of a rollover traffic crash in Chariton County on Saturday, November 13.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by Dougie Bruce, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, crossed back over the roadway, overturned down an embankment and ejected Bruce, who was not wearing a seat belt.
Bruce was flown by Life Flight Eagle helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.
The crash happened at 10:29 a.m. on Route M, 3-1/2 miles west of Triplett.
