A 31-year-old Marshall man was flown from the scene of a rollover traffic crash in Pettis County on Tuesday, November 16.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by Ryan Costa, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned and ejected Costa, who was not wearing a seat belt.

Costa was flown by Life Flight helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.

The crash happened at 5:35 a.m. on U.S. Highway 65, south of Georgetown Road.
