A 36-year-old Sedalia man has been charged with sex-related felonies involving a juvenile in Pettis County.

According to a Sedalia Police Report, a 14-year-old female ran away three times in the month of April. On April 20, the teen was located in an abandoned house on East 4th Street, where she was found hiding in a closet with Nickolas Snow. At that time, the girl only said she had smoked meth with Snow. Snow was arrested on outstanding warrants.

On September 23, Sedalia Police received a report from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, and the girl alleged Snow had sexually assaulted her on more than one occasion. After an investigation and interview with the teen, formal charges have been filed.

According to court documents, Snow is charged with felonies for two counts of statutory rape in the second degree. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

Snow’s initial appearance is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
