A Warrensburg woman was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday, November 24.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred as 46-year-old Jessica Huckaby crossed U.S. Highway 50, into the path of an eastbound vehicle, driven by 21-year-old Tyler Courtney, of Oak Grove.

Huckaby was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatments of serious injuries.

The crash happened at 5:35 a.m. east of Northwest 271st Road on U.S Highway 50.
