Positive COVID-19 cases and quarantines have increased in a Cooper County school district.

According to Pilot Grove R-4 Superintendent Ashley Groepper, this week the district has experienced an increase in positive COVID cases in the school building. At this time, the district has eight positive cases and additional quarantines.

Groepper says, “As of now, your administrative team has made contact with all families of students determined to be close contacts requiring quarantining. I ask that as we return to school on Monday, (November 29), if your child is experiencing symptoms of illness, you keep them at home and contact your healthcare provider for guidance.”
