A 19-year-old Boonville resident who was charged with multiple sex-related felonies involving a juvenile last year agreed to a plea deal during a court proceeding on November 8 and has been sentenced to spend more than two decades in state prison.

According to a report from a Boonville Police officer, a 12-year-old girl told authorities Ywhwshua Eliyah LaMoore had forced her to have sexual intercourse with him and other sexual acts at his residence.

LaMoore pleaded guilty to statutory rape or attempted statutory rape in the first degree, sexual abuse in the first degree and child molestation in the third degree. The other sex-related charge was dismissed by the court.

LaMoore was sentenced to 22 years on the statutory rape charge and 10 years on each of the other two charges, with all sentences to run concurrently. LaMoore also has received credit for time served.
