Warrensburg is kicking off the Holiday season this weekend.

According to the Warrensburg Police Department, the Holiday Parade is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, December 3, on Holden Street followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Court House.

Father Christmas is scheduled to arrive via train in Warrensburg at 9:34 a.m. on Saturday, December 4. This is followed by the Nutcracker ballet- hosted by Center Stage Academy at Hendricks Hall- at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday and at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 5. Also, you are urged to no forget “A Dickens Christmas in Downtown Warrensburg” is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday- with artisans, horse and carriage ride, winter market and lots of activities.
