Brian King, 60, of rural Malta Bend, died Thursday, December 9, at his home.

Born August 19, 1961, in Kansas City, MO, he was the son of the late James Henry King and Marie Muller King. On August 30, 1990, he married Lenora K. Shadden who preceded him in death on October 21, 2015. Brian lived in several places through the years, but lived in Saline County, MO, most of his life.  He was an entrepreneur and owned and operated L&B Junk Shop in Marshall. Brian was a United States Air Force veteran and served in Germany.

Survivors include several grandchildren, including, Twilla Cunningham of Marshall, Krissy Alonso of Gridley, KS, and Jack Geeslin of rural Malta Bend; several great-grandchildren; six siblings: Roswitha Pohl, Renata Pulera and Walter Muller, all of Germany, and Hobby King, Jeff King and Greg King, all of Marshall; nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Debbie King.
