
Area authorities responded to a Sedalia residence in reference to a gunshot victim at approximately 3:27 a.m. Friday, December 10.
According to a news release, Sedalia Police and Fire departments, along with the Pettis County Ambulance District responded to a call from 1815 South Kentucky Avenue.
Officers found 32-year-old Tylar Simon, of the residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. Lifesaving measures were attempted, but Simon succumbed to his injuries. Pettis County Coroner Skip Smith responded to the scene and pronounced Mr. Simon deceased.
No arrest has been made at this time. There is currently an ongoing investigation as detectives continue to follow up on leads.
