Marshall Municipal Utilities’ Board of Public Works has approved a rate change for specific customers.

A resolution was presented during the Marshall City Council meeting on Monday, December 27.

MMU General Manager Jeff Bergstrom explained the crux of the resolution.

According to the resolution, the Biochemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D.) Rate will be lowered from 23 cents to 22 cents per pound for MMU’s industrial customers.

The council approved the resolution.
