The Parents As Teachers program is scheduled to offer free developmental screenings for children age three months to 5 years on Wednesday, January 12, and Thursday, January 13, at the Loftus Early Childhood Center at 2004 Tiger Pride Boulevard in Sedalia. Screening times are scheduled for 3:30, 4:45 or 6 p.m.

A news release says screenings are by appointment only, and eligible children must be residents of Pettis County and not yet in kindergarten.

The areas to be screened include speech, vision, hearing, language, readiness and motor skills; and there also is a health questionnaire.
