
Brenda Faye Riggins, 74, of Marshall, died Wednesday, January 5, at Legendary Nursing and Rehab in Marshall.

Born March 11, 1947, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late James Robert Clause and Cassie Juanita Vaught Clause. Brenda lived in Saline County her entire life and was a graduate of Marshall High School. On April 5, 1996, she married James A. Riggins who survives. In earlier years, she worked at International Shoe Company and was a cook at Boyd Street Café, Fitzgibbon Hospital and Marshall Public Schools. She was a member of the Foster Grandparent Program.
Survivors her husband, James; two sons, Barry Narron (Robin) of Sedalia, MO and Brent Narron (Rikki Thomason) of Miami, MO; two stepchildren, Jimmy Riggins and Stacey Osborn (Gerald) of Marshall; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Showman (Ethan), Christopher Narron, Nash Narron, Owen Gochenour and Hank Narron; four step-grandchildren, Jesse Riggins (Brittany Stogsdill), Devin Riggins, Kevin Riggins and Jasmine Caton (Wesley); three step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Clause (Linda) of Nelson, MO; one sister, Judi Wyatt of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Wanda Bishop.
