During the most recent meeting on the Marshall Municipal Utilities’ Board of Public Works, board members discussed various action items.

Per the agenda, General Manager Jeff Bergstrom told the board the Electric Distribution facility had opened proposals for general installation materials for its Southeast Substation New Transformer and 15kV Switchgear.

Bergstrom says both requests were missing the oil containment materials due to suppliers not being able to locate specified material.

The board approved the recommendation to accept the proposal from Graybar in Kansas City in the amount of $22,206.95.

In other news, the board approved well treatment and maintenance in its Water Treatment facility.
