Firefighters battled a blaze in a Pettis County city on Tuesday, February 8.

According to the Sedalia Fire Department, crews were toned out to a report of a residential structure fire  at approximately 7:18 a.m., near East 7th Street and South New York Avenue.

Firefighters arrived at the scene at approximately 7:21 a.m. No occupants were inside the home at the time of the fire. The last units cleared the scene at 9:40 a.m.

No injuries were reported from the scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
